MatSubst: AI for Materials and Manufacturing

We're building advanced AI models that accurately predict how bulk-scale materials behave in real manufacturing conditions, helping companies quickly select, test, and integrate better materials, and directly optimize their process flows—saving time, money, and resources. Manufacturers today still rely on slow, expensive trial-and-error to choose and optimize their materials — including metals, alloys, ceramics, polymers, chemicals and other advanced materials. Reacting to regulatory shocks, supply-chain disruptions or climate mandates all require making adjustments to production processes, in the form of material substitutions or other process optimizations.

We are currently looking to partner with industry players, enabling us to focus on solving real-world problems by building AI models that can transform industrial workflows. In particular, partners who are looking to optimize their process flow by implementing materials substitutions or novel materials testing to increase efficiency, meet regulatory requirements, or normalize fluctuating raw material prices. Mutually beneficial partnerships steer us towards industry specific problems, helping us bring our AI expertise to our partners, co-creating AI models specifically tailored to their manufacturing needs.
